Join the fight to end global poverty!
“Show Me” is a song that charts a conversation with God about the state of the world and the individual’s place in it. Exploration of these themes led to the Show Me Campaign, which was launched as a platform through which people could improve the world.
The mission of the Show Me Campaign is to break the cycle of poverty through solutions that have been proven to improve people’s lives.
The Show Me Campaign adopted a village in Tanzania through Millennium Promise. We raise money for things like agriculture education and fertilizer for farmers; access to clean drinking water; medicine and bed nets to prevent and cure malaria; and schools, teachers and lunches that ensure young people receive quality education.

Support for the Millennium Villages
The Show Me Campaign made a commitment to help the community of Mbola, Tanzania lift itself out of poverty through the Millennium Village Project. The villagers of Mbola face a difficult life. They walk up to 5 km to find clean water, go without access to health care, struggle to provide enough food, education and opportunities for their children. The Millennium Village Campaign and the Show Me Campaign have pledged to help change all that.
Initial investments in Mbola will include:
* Training farmers in proper techniques and rain water harvesting, and learning best practices from farmers in the area
* Facilitating the delivery of fertilizers and improved seed and developing community-based seed supply and grain storage systems
* Strengthening farmers' associations to improve market access
* Establishing infrastructure for education and providing incentives for school attendance
* Promoting and facilitating the use of biogas and solar energy and energy saving stoves to cut down amount of charcoal and firewood, protecting the natural forests
* Providing basic health care facilities and supplying adequate medical supplies
But more than these individual investments, the Show Me Campaign is working with the villagers of Mbola to give them the tools they need to transform their lives. The villagers of Mbola are creating a new future for themselves and their children, and it is our priviledge to work alongside them.
